Y ou want to know what it’s like to be born with more handicaps that most kids have fingers? Let me tell you!
You see, I love life!
Now I realize that fact does not make me particularly unique, but is it my optimism—in the face of adversity—that has truly defined who I am.
Being born with multiple congenital deformities, doctors told my parents that I wouldn’t make it past the age of three, and, if I did, I would never walk or function normally.
Well, I proved them wrong!
Today I am 22 years old, and I’ve learned to enjoy every day to the fullest. Some people say that my 56 pounds of body weight is all heart! I like that!
I wouldn’t want you to think that I did this all on my own. It’s been the good graces of my devoted parents, family members, the assistance of my many friends surrounding me always, and unfailing happiness of Shriners in Moslem Shrine, and the medical ministries of my friends at the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Chicago,
Together, they have helped me create a human touch in my life—which is a quality most needed in our day. I’d like to share what I have learned with you. Therefore, I offer myself as a motivational speaker—unlike any speaker you’ve ever heard.
I’ll share my unique point of view, my story, my unflagging optimism, and a personal vision of why one guy, who really shouldn’t be able to do what I do, can do to help others—whatever their handicaps, or lack of handicaps. Sometimes people without handicaps are handicapped. If you know what I mean.
You’ll have to understand that I’m sort of an old-fashioned person. I don’t use power points or pictures. It’ll be just me, talking. People across the Midwest have been lifted by my presence, and for that I am grateful.
Let me know if I can help you in any way.
I’d be honored to meet you –and, maybe your friends or your staff. We’ll have a good time together—learning all the way.
Give me a call.
